Nicolas Sarkozy has today said "I grew up in the 1930s with an unemployed father. He did not riot. He got on his bike and looked for work, and he went on looking until he found it.".
Speaking at Alton Towers Nicolas Sarkozy’s comments come in a week that has seen hooligans involved in binge drinking on an ever more frequent basis.
Nicolas Sarkozy’s comments are both brave and perceptive. In a country where children as young as five are regularly exposed to hooligans it is about time that someone had the guts to stand up and tell the truth. Hooligans and the liberal communist atheist society that spawns them must be eliminated.
